Review on Capacity Optimization of Traction Transformer for High-Speed Railway

In electrified railways, traction load not only fluctuates between peaks and valleys, but also has a situation of low utilization rate average throughout the day short overload. The transformer selects capacity with peak as demand boundary, which will cause to be even lead economic decline power supply system. This article summarizes existing configuration methods for optimization transformer. Then under conditions energy storage new access system, three aspects are described follows.
